Over 200 volunteers and farmers planted forestry seedlings on hillsides stripped by drought and conflict.
More than 200 volunteers, farmers, and students spent World Forest Day on the slopes above Bir Ajam, planting forestry seedlings on land that had lost its cover to drought and years of neglect.
The campaign is part of our climate resilience program, which has so far supported 330 farmers with seedlings, fruit trees, and training on modern agricultural methods.
Similar campaigns have taken place in Madinat Al-Salam, Qara, and Khan Al-Sheeh, each organized with local councils and active associations.
