The fifth back-to-school campaign distributed bags and full stationery sets across Quneitra and Rif Dimashq before the first school bell rang.
For the fifth year running, Inanna teams were at school gates before the first bell. This September, 2,450 boys and girls in Khan Arnabah, Yalda, Beit Sahm, and Jaramana received a school bag packed with notebooks, pens, and geometry sets.
The campaign targets families who would otherwise delay or skip enrollment because of the cost of supplies. Teachers reported that attendance in the first week was the highest in three years.
Ring the Bell is funded through a mix of individual donors and local business contributions. Next year we aim to reach 3,000 children and extend the campaign to Aleppo's Old City.
