Quneitra Women for Peace and Empowerment

Supported by the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the project strengthens the resilience of women and young women and their active role in peacebuilding and social cohesion in Quneitra governorate. It stems from Inanna's belief that women's economic and social empowerment is the foundation for their independence, their wider participation in public life and decision-making, and their ability to address challenges and conflicts within their communities. By supporting women-led collective income-generating projects, developing the capacities of women and young women in leadership, governance, and public participation, and building their skills in dialogue, mediation, and conflict management, the project seeks to build a nucleus of women able to take initiative, influence, and build bridges between the different components of society.
